District Jubilee Camp 2012 Updated: 7th February |

Next May is District Camp time again. Friday 4th to Monday 7th May 2012 at Blackland
Farm, East Grinstead.
We would like every member to come to the camp and join the
fun. We are in the process of organising what we hope will be a memorable experience
for everyone. We have a small team concentrating on the activity bases.
As the plan
develops we will provide regular updates in future editions of Links, on this web
page and at sectional meetings.

4th February -
I am writing to invite you to an open meeting about the District Jubilee Camp. As
I am sure you know, this is planned for May 4-
We have therefore arranged and open meeting for all leaders/helpers etc. who want to come along with the purpose of:
• Updating everyone on the overall plan and the details of what is going on
• Reviewing
where we are in terms of organised the activities (actually we are in good shape
but still need help from groups that have not yet committed).
• Informing leaders
on the process for registering attendees and making payments to the district
• Providing
an opportunity for questions to be asked and issues resolved.
The meeting will on Thursday 23rd Feb at 8.00pm at the 19th Wimbledon HQ [junction of Oakwood Road & Cottenham Park Road, Raynes Park]
I hope as many of you as possible can make it and that every Group in the District has at least one leader attending. Please feel free to invite any of your colleagues who may not have received this email.
Look forward to seeing you there and working with you to make a really successful camp.
