Patrol Camping Weekend 2007
Rules
Scout uniform must be worn on arrival and at the Final Inspection.
All food must be supplied by the Patrol and all meals must be cooked on a wood altar fire.
The food guidelines give an indication of the types of meals required.
All meals will be inspected at the Patrol site at pre-arranged times and must not be served before the time agreed with the assessors. A copy of the menu with the Patrol name on it must be handed to the assessors when your Patrol books in and a copy must remain on the Patrol site.
The Equipment Guidelines give an indication of the equipment required. No pre-made gadgets may be used.
Rubbish Disposal
No pits are to be dug.
All burnable rubbish (eg
waste food etc) is to be burned after each meal. Other rubbish (eg
empty cans) is to be burned, bashed and bagged into black plastic
sacks which will have to be taken away with you.
Glass, aerosols and
batteries should not be burned but must be disposed of in the black
plastic sack.
Patrol Leaders must ensure that their Patrols are equipped with First Aid Kits that meet the standard set out in the attached First Aid Kit guidelines and that another member of the Patrol is nominated as First Aider and is appropriately trained.
Accidents or incidents especially burns, scalds and serious cuts MUST be reported to the leaders. Points will not be lost.
