THE SHOOT OUT -

  1. Only the players left on the pitch at the end of extra time can participate (inc. GKs). No substitutions can be made now.

  2. One end of the pitch is chosen and a team is chosen (by the flip of a coin) to either attack or defend first.

  3. The attacking player starts for the centre spot and has 10 seconds to score a goal. They may not enter the goal area.

  4. The GK may not leave the goal area.

  5. Once all seven players from both sides have taken their kicks and the scores remain level then the shoot out recommences in the same order on a sudden death basis. If a team is reduced to six players due to a sending off then one player is elected to shoot twice.
