Silver Wolf Presented to Mary White
The Silver Wolf is the unrestricted
gift of the Chief Scout, awarded for service of the most exceptional
nature, and was presented to our Badge Secretary, Mary White, on the
9th December.
DC Bob Prescott, Vice-President
Jack Atkins and Dave & Lesley Bixby went to Austria to visit Mary
and her son David for the presentations.
They were joined by members of the local Scout Troop for a wonderful afternoon that clearly delighted Mary and her obvious joy at receiving the Awards made the trip worthwhile in itself.
Mary was presented with her Silver Wolf & Certificate by Bob, the Silver Wolf Brooch by Jack, her 40 Years Service Brooch by Lesley and flowers from Wimbledon & Wandle Fellowship by Dave.
