10 Network Scouts and a few leaders travelled to Fontainebleau forest (60km South West of Paris) where they camped for 3 nights and took in 2 full days bouldering in the hot French sun.

The group were varied in climbing skills, but the area had a great range of problems from the reasonably easy to  "Spiderman only".

The trip was an amazing success with all participants vowing to come back at the earliest possible opportunity and the previously inexperienced among the group discussing local climbing wall membership and investing in a pair of their own climbing shoes.

The group recommend  Fontainebleau bouldering to any older Explorer or Network group as it's difficult to not have the best time there.
