District Lead Volunteer

Michelle is one of the driving forces behind Scouting in the district. Working closely with leaders, young people, and volunteers, she helps create a supportive and exciting environment for everyone. Michelle’s enthusiasm ensures local groups have everything they need to deliver amazing adventures and opportunities that inspire skills for life.

District Lead Volunteer

Dave works side by side with Michelle to keep Scouting thriving across the district. Together, they support leaders and volunteers to deliver fun, adventurous programs that help young people grow in confidence and resilience. With a hands-on approach, Dave ensures every group has the tools they need to create unforgettable experiences.

Dominic Moore
Programme Team Leader (Beavers)

Dominic leads the Beaver section across the district, helping to shape fun, hands-on programs for young people aged 6-8. He works with local leaders to plan activities that inspire creativity, teamwork, and curiosity. Through his dedication, Dominic ensures Beavers get the best start on their Scouting adventure.

Mark Roberts
Programme Team Leader (Cubs)

Mark helps bring the adventure of Scouting to life for Cubs across the district. He supports local leaders in delivering exciting activities that challenge young people aged 8-10½ and help them build confidence and independence. From campfires to creative challenges, Mark makes sure Cubs get stuck into opportunities to grow and thrive.

Mark Renton
Programme Team Leader (Scouts)

Mark helps shape the journey for Scouts aged 10½ to 14 across the district. Supporting local leaders, he ensures Scouts take on challenges that build resilience, leadership, and teamwork. Whether it’s outdoor adventures or community projects, Mark helps create programs that are fun, rewarding, and packed with opportunities to learn skills for life.

Keira Pearson
Network Team Leader (18-24 Section)

Keira leads the way for the Scout Network, bringing together young adults aged 18-25 to take on exciting challenges and adventures. From planning expeditions to organizing community projects, she ensures that Network members have the tools and opportunities to develop their skills and make a real impact. Keira’s passion for teamwork and exploration inspires Network members to push their boundaries and connect with others who share their enthusiasm for Scouting.

Matthew Hewitt
District Chair

As District Chair, Matthew plays a key role in supporting and guiding the district’s leadership team. He works behind the scenes to ensure the district runs smoothly, overseeing governance, resources, and strategic planning. With a focus on collaboration, Matthew helps create an environment where volunteers can thrive, and young people have access to life-changing opportunities. His dedication ensures that Scouting continues to make a positive impact across the district.
