The District Store is open between 7:45pm to 9:15pm every Thursday during Term Time, unless specified on the calendar.
It will remain open until the close of business on the 9th December 2021, following which the annual stock take will take place. The Store will reopen on Thursday 13th January 2022 at 7.45pm.
A good stock of Beaver, Cub, Scout, Explorer and Sea Scout uniforms and the more common sizes of Leaders’ uniforms is maintained, together with a variety of certificates and books and Cash’s name tape cards. Any other items including scarves, iScout/Heritage clothing, flags, tents and souvenirs can be ordered and many are normally available within a week (special order scarves, flags etc take a little longer) .
All items are sold at the recommended retail price, that is the same price that you will pay elsewhere, but the profits are shared pro rata between the Groups who use the Store. Thus, it is the young people of the District who benefit from the profits - not the local shop keepers.
We recommend that you bring your child with you whenever possible so that they can try their uniform on.
The Badge Secretary is available for Leaders to buy badges at a discounted rate.
How to find the District Store
The Headquarters is situated in Morden Hall Park. The entrance is in Morden Road between the Surrey Arms public house and Deer Park Gardens.
