The District Trustee Board

The body responsible for ensuring the governance of Wimbledon and Wandle is called the District Trustee Board.

The board is a team of volunteers who have all got difference skillsets. Some are volunteers in Scouts who also are young person facing, others are behind the scenes and focus aspects such as finance or property. The primary role of the Board is to make sure Scouts in the District is run safely and legally. At the heart of their role is a focus on strategy, performance and assurance. The effective governance which our board creates helps our volunteers deliver fantastic programmes that give young people skills for life.
