Our District Board of Trustees is made up of several people who have different skill sets. The Trustee Board is a team of volunteers who work together, as charity trustees, to make sure Scouts is run safely and legally. At the heart of their role is a focus on strategy, performance and assurance. Effective Trustee Board governance helps our volunteers deliver fantastic programmes that give young people skills for life.

Our District trustees are

Matthew Hewitt – Chair

Marguerite Landells – Treasurer

Michelle Baker – Trustee

Sarah-Jane Anscomb – Trustee

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
