In 2023 we presented the very first ‘Brian Whalebone Unsung Hero Award’ to Lesley Bixby. Lesley does many things behind the scenes for the district and it was very fitting that Lesley was the first to receive this award, Congratulations.

In June 2023 at the Merton Partnership Civic Pride Volunteer Awards Lesley Bixby, Alison Edwards and Gary Baker were awarded Volunteer Awards in recognition for their volunteering in the London Borough of Merton.
