District Store

The District Store is open between 7:45pm to 9:00pm every Thursday during Term Time

All sizes of Squirrels, Beaver, Cub and Scout uniforms and the more common sizes of Explorer and Leaders’ uniforms are maintained, together with a variety of certificates, record cards, “Badges And Awards And How to Earn Them” books, Leaders & Supporters Guidance, other miscellaneous books and Cash’s name tape cards.

Any other items including uniform not stocked , scarves, Scout Association clothing, flags, tents and souvenirs can be ordered and many are normally available within 2 weeks (special order scarves, flags etc can take a little longer).

The Store seeks to provide a first class service to all members across the District.

Our Store is run by volunteers from our own HQ. We have low overheads so we are able to sell our uniforms and other items at competitive prices compared to other outlets which exist in the area. After modest administrative costs any profit we make goes back to the young people and their families through discounted prices at the Store.

We recommend that you bring your child with you whenever possible so that they can try their uniform on.

Card payments accepted.

The Badge Secretary is available for Leaders and authorised personnel to buy badges at cost price.
